  • Welcome Reception in the University Aula, Sunday, 8 September
  • Jazz concert, Monday, 9 September, 8 p.m., room K.0.01 (Servicegebäude):
    Urtinktur – modern Jazz Quartett

    Rainer Deixler, Drums

    Urtinktur plays originals and compositions by selected Jazz composers. The quartet’s paradigm is the creation of an open, flowing sound space, based on vivid arrangements and spontaneous, free improvisation.
    In this concert, the auditory experience will be complemented by a visual representation based on modern mathematical signal processing tools.
  • Leisurely Running:
    Klagenfurt has scenic running routes along the water and through the lush green countryside on well-kept paths with good signposting. Meet some of the local math-people on tuesday morning and join them on a one hour gentle morning run.
    Meeting point: Tuesday September 10, 7 a.m., in front of the USI (Universitaetssportinstitut) on the campus. 
    There are changing rooms, lockers, and showers inside the USI building for participants free of charge.
  • Reception by the Governor of Carinthia on Tuesday, September 10, at 7 p.m. near Hörsaal A in the main building of the university.
  • Conference Dinner (boat trip on Lake Wörthersee), Wednesday, 11 September
