"Optimal design of
spatio-temporal networks and systems"
Optimal sampling plays a crucial role for proper parameter estimation and prediction of random phenomena being distributed in space and time. The minisymposium will focus on issues of optimal prediction and design of spatio-temporal processes which are sensed on the basis of mobile (small to medium area) sensor networks and static (medium to large area) environmental monitoring networks, respectively.
