The minisymposium is focused on integration of optimization, modeling, multi-criteria decision analysis, data and systems analysis and knowledge management for solving real world problems. The application areas are Telecommunication, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Energy and Environment and Healthcare. TC 7.6 working group on Optimization-Based Computer Aided Modeling and Design have recently organized workshop that bring together researchers working on the proposed subjects. The group would like to continue activities and involve new researchers.
