Conference venue

You can also use Westbus with connections, e.g., to Vienna, Graz, Linz, Berlin, Dresden, Prague, Budapest, Bratislava, Zagreb. Information on timetables and online tickets can be found at:
Via fast highway connections Klagenfurt is also easily accessible by car. The university as well as the hotels offer very good parking facilities, especially at the planned time of the conference.
Bus connection city center (Heiligengeistplatz) - university: bus line 10 (Heiligengeistplatz - Minimundus-Universität with a 10 minutes walk to the University) or bus line 81 (Heiligengeistplatz - Universität). With bus line 42 you have a connection from the airport to Heiligengeistplatz. Here you find an overview about all bus lines (in the daytime and in the nighttime).
The travel time from the university to Heiligengeistplatz is about 10 minutes. It is recommendable to have a look at the bus schedule in order to avoid long waiting times.

Please consider that you have to pay a parking fee for parking at "Parkplatz West", "Parkplatz Süd" and "Parkplatz Ost".

The university is located near the Wörthersee and there are two sites to go for a swim: Strandbad Klagenfurt-See and Strandbad Maria Loretto.
Ticket: 4.10€ (from 15:00 2.90€, from 18:00 1.50€). Opening hours: Mon-Sun from 8:00 to at least 19:00 (depending on the weather).
